About Tropical Dragonfruit...

What is Tropical Dragonfruit?

Originally from Central America and now organically grown in Southern California by DeVine Organic Growers, Tropical Dragonfruit is the more colorful and savory, sweet cousin to the Common white-fleshed Dragonfruit found in Asia. Tropical Dragonfruit is available in two varieties – Pink and Magenta – both offering a similar deliciously sweet, lightly tangy and delightfully refreshing flavor combination favored by our American taste buds.

Typically ranging in size from 8 to 12 ounces, Tropical Dragonfruit is covered with scales (also known as fins or bracts), which are a naturally appearing feature and one reason for it's name: Dragonfruit.

Tropical Dragon Fruit

When ripe, Tropical Dragonfruit skin is red fading to green coloration on the scale tips. While Tropical Dragonfruit and the Common white-fleshed Dragonfruit have a similar outside appearance - the inside color and taste are worlds apart. Once sliced open, you will be amazed at the intensity and vibrancy of the inner color varying from Pink to Magenta.

Since the outside shape and coloring are similar when buying, be sure to look for our stickers –Pink Inside or Magenta Inside –to make sure you are getting the fruit you want.

DeVine Tropical Dragonfruit is an all-natural and not been fooled with certified organic fruit. When buying your Tropical Dragonfruit, look for our stickers to make sure you are getting the pink or magenta fruit that is light and refreshingly sweet with a hint of tang. Never settle for less – only DeVine Organic Growers can offer you Exquisitely Tasteful™ Tropical Dragonfruit – guaranteed certified organic, guaranteed fresh, guaranteed DeVine.
